Update Regarding the Live Stream Ticket Option
Making open source educational content widely accessible is vitally important to us.
Since 2020 we have included an extensive virtual component for ATO, due to the COVID situation and in an effort to make programming available to as many as possible around the globe. We originally planned to continue this on a smaller scale in 2023, but have made some recent changes.
We want to be totally transparent with our community, and inform everyone of the changes in plenty of time to allow for proper planning.
Due to very low interest in the Live Stream registration option (fewer than 30 signed up at just $10 USD over 2.5+ months)) and high costs associated with the logistics of live streaming, we have canceled this ticket option. Those few who registered for a Live Stream ticket will be refunded and offered a pass to the in-person event.
Although we will no longer be offering a Life Stream ticket option, we still want to make programming available to those who are not able to be with us in-person and will do the following:
- We will record a selection of tracks over both core days of the conference (Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17), to include Keynotes, DevOps, Developer 1, Machine Learning/AI, Case Study/Demo 1, and Case Study/Demo 2.
- We will also be recording the Inclusion and Diversity Event on Sunday, October 15.
- Both track sessions and the Inclusion & Diversity event recordings will be made available FREE OF CHARGE on our YouTube channel soon after the conclusion of the conference. We will notify everyone immediately when they are available.
Please note, live streaming plans can always change based on a dynamic set of variables. If they do we will notify our community immediately via email and across social media. Be sure to sign up for our mailing list if you haven’t already and follow us on social media for the latest updates.
We greatly appreciate your understanding regarding this format change. If you have any questions please reach out at [email protected].
