Sahdev Zala

Sahdev P. Zala is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM Open Technology division. He is a PyTorch contributor and leads a team of developers focused on PyTorch upstream contributions. Sahdev has been an open source developer for over a decade. He is currently a maintainer for the CNCF etcd project, which is a primary datastore of Kubernetes. Previously, Sahdev was a core contributor to the OpenStack project and a technical committee member of the OASIS TOSCA. He has been a speaker at many KubeCons, OpenStack Summits, IBM Think conferences, various Linux Foundation conferences, All Things Open, and local open-source Meetups. Sahdev’s work has been published in the Journal of Grid Computing, International Journal of Computer Science and Information Technologies, cncf.io, Container Journal, and other prestigious media.
