Laurence Moroney

Laurence Moroney leads AI Advocacy at Google, where he is passionate about widening access to AI technology to all developers. He’s an award-winning researcher, best-selling author, and teacher of over 1M students on various MOOCs at Coursera and Harvard. A regular speaker on the international circuit, this is his first All Things Open conference, and he’s delighted to be here. When not doing AI stuff, he enjoys writing – and is the author of popular Sci Fi novels, and a produced screenwriter. He’s currently working on an AI-related movie with a major Hollywood studio (or will resume doing that, once the strikes end!)
