I’m a professional software developer, writer, presenter, father, husband, and Geek. I’m currently a Principal Product Manager at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). I spent the last 30 years or so building enterprise and mobile applications, as well as cloud tools for developers. I’ve published 8 books, 7 of which cover software development topics; my latest is Learning Progressive Web Apps. I love writing code and tinkering with different technologies and writing about them. I especially like IoT, building and writing about projects for Arduino, Particle Photon, Raspberry Pi, and more.
