Session: Getting Started with Apache Pinot – Workshop
Apache Pinot is a realtime distributed OLAP datastore, designed to answer OLAP queries with low latency. It is being adopted by LinkedIn, Uber, Spripe and more comapnies.
In this Hands on Workshop, we will learn how to install and run Apache Pinot. Tasks will include:
- Install Apache Pinot.
- Deploy the essential components including Zookeeper, Control, Broker and Server.
- Create a schema and a table.
- Inject batch data into Pinot table.
- Consume Kafka topics into pinot tables.
- Examine Pinot performance by running queries.
- Explore Pinot Explorer UI.
