In this 15-minute “burst” talk, we will answer these questions and more using the 11,000 responses collected in our Fall 2022 developer survey.

Getting the next generation of technologists involved in open source is a popular topic in the community, and for good reason. The aim of this talk is to give students a voice in this discussion by equiping leaders with data straight from the source. Let’s stop guessing what we think new developers want, and hear what the data has to tell us.
