Passbolt & All Things Open: A Natural Fit
Passbolt is a password manager committed to open source principles, diversity, and inclusion. It’s a dedication that has led to the creation of a robust solution that’s very design prioritises user security, collaboration and privacy. Open source has never been an afterthought at passbolt – it’s a core part of their existence.
Naturally, this made the decision for passbolt to sponsor All Things Open 2023 an easy one. Being able to connect with others who share the same passion for open source is part of what makes All Things Open such a great event. It’s a platform to celebrate the art and magic of community-driven creation – an avenue for the community to explore the role of open source in innovation, collaboration and transparency in cybersecurity.
During the event, passbolt CTO Remy Bertot will deliver a talk, “Beyond passwords: Secure Authentication with Passkeys.” The talk will take a deep dive into the future landscape of passkeys as a replacement or alternative for passwords. Expect an exploration of the benefits and challenges with real-life instances of how passkeys are reshaping authentication.
